Former England midfielder, Jamie Redknapp, has claimed Manchester United has become “a graveyard for great players”.
Redknapp stated this in reaction to United’s 3-0 defeat to Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday.
Erik ten Hag’s men suffered a second successive loss at Old Trafford without scoring a single goal.
Redknapp said on Sky Sports: “Man Utd has become a graveyard for great players. Anyone that comes here seems to go downhill.
“You think of the chances they should be creating, you should be licking your lips.
“If you’re signing here as a centre forward with players like Garnacho and Rashford and you’ll get so many opportunities – it’s just not happening.
“Everyone, for whatever reason, is devoid of any confidence and belief.”
