Liverpool have been handed a major injury boost ahead of their Premier League tie with Manchester City on Saturday.
Liverpool stars, Joe Gomez, Ryan Gravenberch, Curtis Jones and Ibrahima Konate have all returned to training ahead of the Man City clash at the Etihad stadium.
The quartet all missed the Reds’ victory over Brentford before the international break.
Gomez missed out through an unexplained issue, while Gravenberch was absent due to a knee problem.
Jones did not feature in the game because of a thigh injury, while Konate had a hamstring issue and was forced to withdraw from the France squad during the international break.
However, all the four players were back in training on Thursday and are in contention to play against Pep Guardiola’s side.
They were joined by the South American contingent of Darwin Nunez, Alisson Becker, Luis Diaz and Alexis Mac Allister after returning to Jurgen Klopp’side this week.
Liverpool sit just a point behind Man City heading into Saturday afternoon’s clash at the Etihad.
