Liverpool have been handed a major injury boost ahead of their Premier League clash with Chelsea on Wednesday.
This comes after Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp confirmed at his post match interview that midfielder Alexis Mac Allister will be ready for the Chelsea clash at Anfield.
Mac Allister was not included in the Liverpool matchday squad that defeated Norwich City 5-2 in the FA Cup at the weekend.
The Argentine had suffered a knock in training and was not risked for the game.
“Alexis, he only rested today,” Klopp told ITV after the win over the Canaries.
“He felt a little bit, so he is probably ready for Wednesday as well.”
After the Chelsea game, Liverpool will then face Arsenal in an away clash in their next match.
