Fulham winger Alex Iwobi is targeting a positive start to the new Premier League season.

The Whites will face Manchester United in their opening fixture of the 2024–25 season.

Iwobi scored a late winner in Fulham’s 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford in February.

Ahead of the upcoming clash on Friday, the Nigeria international declared that they are rearing to go again.

“Yeah, it could be. So far, I am trying to create more. So, maybe we can do it again and create more. But it is all in the past now. It is about the present and hopefully doing it again,” Iwobi told Fulham’s official website.

“Yeah, of course, it is a great test. Man United, one of the best teams in the Premier League. It is a good challenge for us. I mean, we were able to do it last season. Hopefully, we can do it again this season and start the season strong.”
