EPL: It’s the same feeling – Guardiola reacts to Arsenal, Liverpool defeats

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has refused to be carried away by the shock defeats suffered by Premier League title rivals Arsenal and Liverpool last weekend.

City thrashed Luton Town 5-1 on Saturday, before Liverpool lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace at Anfield and Aston Villa beat Arsenal 2-0 at the Emirates.

The results saw the champions open a two-point lead at the top of the table.

Guardiola’s men are still looking to repeat their Treble success this year, as they take on Real Madrid in the second leg of their quarter-final clash, with the tie balanced at 3-3.

After that, they play Chelsea in the semi-final of the FA Cup.

“When we are in the final of the FA Cup and two or three games and in the final of the Champions League I will start to think about that,” Guardiola told reporters.

“But you say how strong Chelsea are and what is a few points difference [in the title race] with six games to play.
