Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba, has claimed he rejected Pep Guardiola’s attempts to sign him for Manchester City.
Pogba revealed this in a new interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
According to him, he chose Juve over the chance to play under Guardiola.
He said: “Yes, I turned down Pep Guardiola’s approach to accept Juventus proposal.
“That story is true.”
When asked which coach he would have love to work with, Pogba replied: “Sir Alex Ferguson. I only had him for a bit and was very young.”
Pogba is set to resume his playing career next year, after his doping ban was reduced from four years to 18 months.
