Former Chelsea boss, Graham Potter has hailed Cole Palmer’s goalscorer ability.
Potter was Chelsea boss for eight months during the 2022-23 campaign. The Englishman was hired as a replacement for Thomas Tuchel.
Palmer has been Chelsea’s top performer and most important player since joining them from Manchester City in 2023.
He has scored 31 goals and provided 19 assists in 53 games for the west London outfit across competitions
The Blues signed Palmer from Manchester City for a reported £42.5 million fee.
The England international has turned out to be arguably Chelsea’s best signing in recent times.
Potter expressed his admiration for the 22-year-old, lauding Palmer’s technique and composure.
He said on Sky Sports, “His technical level is incredibly high and he’s just so calm…
“He scores all types of goals, can see a killer pass and can link the play. He’s a top player.”
The midfielder has already scored six goals and provided four assists in six Premier League fixtures for Chelsea this term.
