Former Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel, has opened up on former captain, John Terry’s leadership style at Stamford Bridge.
Terry is regarded as one of the finest defenders in Premier League and England history and captained the west London sides for a major portion of his club career.
Mikel, who played under Terry’s captaincy for many years, has opened up on what the former England international used to do when the going got tough.
Speaking on The Obi One Podcast, the former Nigeria international said:
“I played with John Terry. When the game is going tough and if we’re losing, in the dressing room, before the manager says something, he’ll come to you.
“He comes to you and goes like, ‘wake up, what the f*ck is wrong with you?’
“Sometimes he’d grab you by the neck.”
