Manchester United legend, Roy Keane, has slammed Lisandro Martinez over his tackle on Chelsea’s Cole Palmer in their 1-1 draw in the Premier League on Sunday.
He is also of the opinion that the Argentine should have been sent off during the game at Old Trafford.
Keane pointed out that the challenge was dangerous and should have attracted a straight red card.
Keane noted that the England international made a fool out of the Argentine defender.
“He won’t be happy with Palmer making a fool of him. It’s a nasty challenge,” he said on Sky Sports.
“But he doesn’t catch him properly. It’s down the side of his leg. If he had got sent off there would have been no complaints.”
With the draw, Chelsea displaced Arsenal in fourth place in the league table, while the Red Devils moved to 12th place.
