Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has stated why he does not criticise star striker, Erling Haaland.
According to the Spaniard, the Norwegian forward has the ability to shout his critics down with his display on the pitch.
Guardiola spoke after watching the striker score the only goal in Manchester City’s 1-0 win over Brentford on Monday.
Haaland, who fired blank against Chelsea at the weekend has now found his scoring boots again.
“Never, ever criticise your top scorer, he will shout you down,” Guardiola told reporters.
“Sooner or later, Erling Haaland is there.
“He comes from two months out, had an incredible, tough week last week, he lost his grandmother… and he’s now back to scoring goals.”
