Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry has said striker, Gabriel Jesus could have scored “two or three” goals during their 2-0 defeat to West Ham on Thursday.
The Gunners missed the opportunity to go top of the Premier League, thanks to goals from Tomas Soucek and Konstantinos Mavropanos.
Mikel Arteta’s men had 77 touches in the opposition box, the most on record in a single Premier League match for a team who failed to score.
After the game at the Emirates, Henry picked out Gabriel Jesus as the player that should have made a difference.
“You knew Arsenal were going to get chances. Sometimes it hits the post, there is a leg on the line or it is not finishing well.
“Gabriel Jesus could have scored two or three. He didn’t. But you have to give credit to West Ham. Not conceding at the Emirates is something amazing,” Henry told Amazon Prime.
Jesus has registered only three goals across 14 league appearances this campaign.
