EPL: Guardiola reveals half-time team talk as Man City defeat Luton 2-1

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has revealed what he told his players as they came from behind to win 2-1 at Luton Town on Sunday.

It was the Premier League champions’ first Premier League victory in a month.

Elijah Adebayo headed the hosts in front, as they threatened to pull off a shock result.

But two quickfire goals from Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish handed maximum points to City.

Guardiola’s men have now moved to four points behind leaders Liverpool.

“Do we have to feel sorry for ourselves? It’s football, life, it happens,” Guardiola said when revealing what his half-time team talk.

“Strikers, be more aggressive and score goals. Defend better the crosses and be more positive.

“They don’t need to prove what they are capable of, they are an extraordinary group of players. But in general, it’s normal.”
