EPL: Guardiola confirms double injury boost ahead of Tottenham vs Man City

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, will have Jack Grealish and Nathan Ake available for Tuesday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

The champions are currently one point behind Arsenal, but have one more game left.

City can move two points clear of the Gunners heading into the final weekend should they win at Spurs on Tuesday.

And they have been handed a double injury boost, with Grealish and Ake returning to training ahead of the match.

Grealish missed the game against Fulham due to illness, while Ake limped off in the first half.

But Guardiola says both are in contention to return on Tuesday.

“Jack has recovered from illness and Nathan was much better yesterday.

“Now we are going to train and we will see if he can train later today,” he told reporters at his pre-match press conference on Monday.
