Arsenal won their match 2-1 against Everton but ended up finishing in second place on the Premier League table, two points behind Pep Guardiola’s side.

“Arsenal blew the league in that dismal period between Christmas and the New Year when we lost to West Ham and Fulham,” Morgan wrote.
