Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting would be open to joining Manchester United in the January transfer window.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Choupo-Moting would be keen on joining the Premier League club, however, the Red Devils may struggle to convince Bayern Munich to part ways with the Cameroonian, given his impact off the bench.
Man United manager Erik ten Hag is keen for the club to sign a new central striker before the end of this month.
Choupo-Moting, who has struggled for playing time at Bayern this season, is among the players on Man United’s shortlist.
“Yeah, I think he will be open to that [joining Man United,” Romano told GiveMeSport.
“I’m also hearing that at Bayern Munich they are very happy with him.
“Bayern would like to keep him, even though they have Harry Kane, because Mathys Tel is very young, he’s doing fantastic but he’s very young.”
Choupo-Moting joined Bayern on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in October 2020.
