EPL: Chelsea missing as Carragher names teams to finish top-six this season

Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher has revealed his Premier League top-six this season.

Carragher didn’t include Chelsea, who finished in sixth position last season, in his list.

According to FourFourTwo, the former England defender, tipped Manchester City to finish top of the Premier League table again this term, while Arsenal will occupy the second position.

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will finish in fourth and fifth positions, respectively.

Manchester United and Aston Villa will complete the fifth and sixth positions, leaving Chelsea out of the list.

The 2024-25 Premier League season begins on Friday night with Manchester United hosting Fulham at Old Trafford.

Explaining his Premier League title prediction for backing Liverpool to finish in top-four, Carragher told FourFourTwo: “I was really surprised Liverpool came so close last season, if I’m being honest.

“With the new manager coming in, finding his feet in the Premier League, most Liverpool fans would expect top four this season. I don’t think anyone will be expecting a title,” he said.
