EPL: Brazil reveals goalkeeper to replace Onana at Man Utd once Ratcliffe arrives

TalkSPORT host and former Manchester United star Alan Brazil has suggested the Red Devils could look to replace goalkeeper Andre Onana with Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsdale once incoming new owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe arrives at Old Trafford.

Onana has not impressed since joining Man United from Inter Milan in the summer.

The Cameroonian has kept just seven clean sheets in 20 appearances across competitions for Erik ten Hag’s side.

“For me, he [Onana] is an accident waiting to happen. What about Ramsdale at Man United? There is a new owner coming in; he is putting in £1.3 billion. He might say, ‘I’m now in charge of transfers;’ he goes, ‘we are not going to win anything with him’. Which is harsh on Onana because he’s a good shot-stopper at times.

“You don’t become a multi-billionaire by luck. He can be ruthless; I am pretty sure Sir Jim Ratcliffe can be ruthless when he wants,” Brazil said (via the UK radio station).
