Former Chelsea striker, Chris Sutton has hit out at Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes as the Red Devils lost 3-0 against Bournemouth in Saturday’s Premier League tie.
Fernandes is now suspended from Manchester United’s game against Liverpool next week after he picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in his side’s shocking defeat against Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
However, speaking about Fernandes’ yellow card, Sutton said the Portugal midfielder should be angry at himself, adding that his passing in the second half was woeful.
“Bruno Fernandes ranting and frothing at the mouth but the referee Peter Bankes not taking any nonsense, that is the way it should be,” Sutton told the BBC.
“You can understand the frustration but maybe he should be angry at himself.
“Maybe he is angry at himself because some of his passing in the second half has been woeful.”
