Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has urged Manchester United not to sack Erik ten Hag.
Arteta believes his colleague deserves more credit and respect.
The Spaniard has called for Ten Hag to be given more time, ahead of their Premier League clash on Sunday.
“I can only talk about what I think about him as a coach. He’s an excellent coach, I admire his teams, Ajax and United.
“I know what he’s trying to do, I know how he does it, I know how difficult it is to prepare against him, so I have huge respect for him.
“Hopefully he gets the time because we are colleagues and we know how difficult it is in this league and how small the margins are,” Arteta said.
United go into the match sitting in eighth place and in real danger of missing out on European football next season.
