Enyimba forward Bernard Ovoke has expressed his happiness with his goal in the Oriental derby with Abia Warriors.
Ovoke’s goal gave Enyimba the maximum points in the 1-0 victory.
The former Kwara United forward said he was delighted his first goal for the People’s Elephant proved to be an important one for the club.
“I feel so great to help the team with my first goal for the club,” he told Enyimba’s media.
“I feel so happy for the feat.”
Enyimba moved to second position on the Nigeria Premier Football League table following the win.
