Enugu lost astute leader – APC ex-chairman, Nwoye mourns Ayogu Eze

A former chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Enugu State, Barr Ben Nwoye has expressed shock over the demise of Senator Ayogu Eze.

DAILY POST reported that Nwoye passed on Thursday morning in an Abuja hospital.

In a statement he personally issued on Thursday, Nwoye said Enugu APC had lost an astute leader, describing Senator Eze as the best governor Enugu never had from the Enugu North Senatorial zone.

“How can one begin to rationalise this? This is one death too many.

“We’re still trying to come out from the shock of the death of Mrs. Maria Aniobi, the last representative of Enugu at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission and now, Ayogu who replaced her is gone.
