EndBadGovernance: Withdraw charges against detained minors – Shehu Sani to Nigerian govt

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has called on the Nigerian government to withdraw the charges against the end governance protest minors.

Sani described the arraignment of the minors as unfortunate and shameful.

Posting on X, the former lawmaker said the Nigerian government should return the minors to their respective states.

He wrote: “The arraignment of those minors for their participation in protest is most unfortunate and shameful for our country’s democracy.

“The FG should withdraw the charges against them and return them back to their states.”

76 persons were arraigned on Friday at the Federal High Court in Abuja for participating in the recent EndBadGovernance protest.

DAILY POST reports that one of the minors arraigned collapsed before the commencement of the trial.

The minors were part of those arrested during the EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest in the country.
