End food price hike – APC chieftain, Ojekhoa tells Tinubu

A member of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Iretidola Ojekhoa has asked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to urgently solve the problem of soaring prices of food in Nigeria.

Ojekhoa, who is the initiator and co-convener of Renewed Hope Unity Movement, said this in an event in Abuja on Friday.

According to her, the government should come up with emergency policies to address the rising cost of food.

“Part of the solution is addressing food scarcity in Nigeria outside political appointments.

“The Presidency and the All Progressives Congress should do something about the hardship Nigerians are facing.

“The greatest support the Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has is from the people. There are a lot of people who supported this government but have never been recognized”, she said.
