Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has urged Benue youths to emulate the inspirational example set by Dr Usha Anenga, who recently emerged as the Second Vice-President of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA).
The Governor conveyed this message in a congratulatory letter to Dr Anenga through his Principal Private Secretary, Dr Emmanuel Change.
In the letter, the Governor lauded Dr. Anenga’s impactful leadership at both the state and national levels, describing him as a rare gem worth emulating.
“Under the age of 40, you are a rare gem who has accomplished so much and your journey serves as an inspiration to youths not just in Benue State but across Nigeria,” he said.
The Governor also commended Dr Anenga for his groundbreaking resilience and determination. He noted that being the first graduate of Benue State University to achieve medical specialist status was a testament to Anenga’s hard work and commitment to excellence.
He concluded by expressing confidence that Anenga will continue to excel and contribute significantly to the field of medicine.
Dr Usha Anenga is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi.
He recently emerged the Second Vice-President of the NMA and was the Chairman of the Benue State Branch of the association.
