The Emir of Zaria, His Royal Highness Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, gave out five of his daughters in marriage on Saturday.
A Facebook post by the media and publicity aide of the emir noted that the marriage took place at the emir’s palace and was attended by several dignitaries.
The Facebook post said the daughters, Mariya, Rukkaya, Hussaina, and Nafisa, were married after their husbands paid N150,000, while Nusaiba’s husband paid N100,000.
“Palace Imam Malam Yahaya led other clergymen in officiating the marriages,” the statement noted.
