Ekiti State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Kehinde Ajobiewe has appealed to commercial drivers and okada riders in the state to stay clear of any act that could lead to the breach of peace before, during and after the next Saturday’s local government elections.
The commissioner made this appeal in Ado Ekiti during a meeting with stakeholders in the transportation sector in the state.
He noted that the Governor Abiodun Oyebanji administration has zero tolerance for any act that could breach the peace of the state, adding that development can only be achieved in an atmosphere of peace.
Ajobiewe charged public transporters and other eligible voters to come out and perform their civic responsibilities during the election.
