EFCC vs Bobrisky: VeryDarkMan didn’t defame Falana — Adeyanju

Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has said popular social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, did not defame Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana.

Adeyanju said VeryDarkMan was only making enquiries regarding crossdresser Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky’s assertion in the audio.

VeryDarkMan had leaked an audio of Bobrisky claiming to have offered N15 million bribe to operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

In the audio, Bobrisky claimed that the money was meant for EFCC to drop the money laundering charges against him so he could evade his jail term at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos State.

Bobrisky, however, has denied the content of the audio, describing it as fake.

Amid Bobrisky’s denial and backlash from Nigerians, VeryDarkMan insisted that he had more evidence to defend the audio.

Reacting, Adeyanju posted on X: “VDM has a lot of respect for Femi Falana, SAN and nowhere did he defame our revered leader in the video posted. He was simply asking questions as regard the assertions made by Bobrisky in the phone recording. For Falz: he should go and meet Bob about everything he/she said.”
