EFCC arrests 64 suspected internet fraudsters, recovers 18 vehicles

The Ibadan Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, said it arrested 64 suspected internet fraudsters and recovered 18 vehicles in Osun.

Dele Oyewale, EFCC Head of Media and Publicity, made this disclosure in a statement released to newsmen on Friday in Ibadan

According to him, the suspects were arrested on Wednesday in Ede, following actionable intelligence on their suspicious activities in the area.

He listed items recovered from the suspects as including 18 exotic vehicles, 18 laptops, 112 mobile phones, and three Play Station games.

Other items were five motorcycles and other incriminating documents, among others.

Oyewale said the suspects would be charged in court after the conclusion of investigations.
