Nigerian champions, Edo Queens will discover their CAF Women’s Champions League opponents on Friday (today).
According to information on CAF’s official website, the draw ceremony will hold at the Complex Mohamed VI in Salé, Morocco.
Edo Queens will be making their maiden appearance in the competition.
Moses Aduku’s side secured qualification to the annual competition after winning the WAFU B Women’s title in August.
Aigles de la Medina (Senegal), University of the Western Cape (South Africa), Tutankhamun (Egypt), and CBE FC (Ethiopia) will also be featuring in the annual tournament for the first time.
Holders Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Morocco’s AS FAR and TP Mazembe of Congo Democratic Republic are the other teams that will compete for the ultimate prize.
The final tournament will be held from November 9 to November 23, 2024.
