Nigerian champions, Edo Queens will discover their group opponents in the 2024 WAFU B Women’s Champions League on Wednesday, July 24.
The draw for the competition will hold at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt
CAF also announced that the draw for the CECAFA, UNAF and UNIFFAC regions will hold same day.
Six other teams will compete for honours in the WAFU B section.
They are hosts FC Inter D’Abidjan of Cote d’Ivoire, Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana, Burkina Faso’s Ao Etincelle Du,
Ainonvi FC of Benin Republic, Niger Republic outfit AS GNN and ASKO FC of Togo.
FC Inter D’Abidjan and Hasaacas Ladies will be seeded for the draw.
The competition will take place between 10 – 23 August in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire at the Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny and Champroux Stadium.
The winner will represent the zone at the CAF Women’s Champions League.
