DSS denies Sowore access to Supreme Court for Nnamdi Kanu’s judgment

The Department of State Services, DSS, has denied the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, in the last election, Omoyele Sowore, entrance into the premises of the Supreme Court to witness the sitting for Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

DSS operatives at the entrance of the court said, ‘No access for Sowore,’ on sighting his car.

Disclosing this via X, Sowore accused DSS operatives of being “unruly” to him at the court’s gate.

Sowore wrote: “I tried attending the Supreme Court ruling for #FreeNnamdiKanuNow this morning but was denied access by an unruly team of @OfficialDSSNG officers stationed at the gate of the #SupremeCourtofNigeria screaming #NoAccessforSowore.

“It was shameful and this tells that the persecution of Nnamdi Kanu is an @OfficialAPCNg official position. The regime of Bola Tinubu @officialABAT is in on it.”

The Supreme Court will decide the fate of the IPOB leader, who has been detained since June 2021, today.
