Marseille have agreed a deal with former Brighton manager, Roberto De Zerbi, for him to become their new head coach.
The Ligue 1 side announced this on Monday.
Marseille noted they were “working with all parties involved to formalise the arrival of the Italian coach and his staff on the OM bench, and to prepare for his arrival in Marseille in the coming days.”
De Zerbi led Brighton to a sixth-place finish in the Premier League during the 2022/2023 season.
In doing so, he helped the Seagulls qualify for a European competition for the first time in their history.
They were eventually dumped out in the Europa League Round of 16 by Roma.
Brighton finished 11th last season and De Zerbi and the club decided to part ways.
