Some former Manchester United stars, including David de Gea and Jesse Lingard, have reacted to Marouane Fellaini’s retirement from professional football.
Fellaini, a former Manchester United and Everton player, had earlier on Saturday announced his retirement from the game at the age of 36.
He insisted he wants to ’embark on a new chapter and new challenges’ in his life.
The former Belgium international disclosed this in a post via his Instagram account.
Replying to Fellaini’s post, David de Gea wrote, “Enjoy life, brother.”
On his part, Jesse Lingard wrote, “What a guy, enjoy, big bro.”
Similarly, Ander Herrera also wrote, “Congratulations, Amigo, and all the best for your new chapter.”
Also, Eric Bailly wrote, “Congratulations on your new career, my brother.”
Fellaini played for the likes of Standard Liege, Everton, Man United and Shandong Taishan.
