The Nigeria Women Football League has announced Cross River State as the host of the Championship Playoff.
The NWFL chief operating officer, Modupe Shabi made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday.
Shabi stated that the playoff will run from Saturday ,August 31 to September 8, 2024.
She added that participating clubs will be divided into four groups A, B, C, and D with eight matches scheduled at two venues.
17 teams are expected to take part in the promotion playoff matches.
The top two teams from each group will be promoted to the NWFL, while two teams will be relegated to the third division.
