Cristiano Ronaldo gives condition to retire from football

Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has said he will retire from football when he doesn’t feel motivated anymore.

Ronaldo was speaking after scoring twice in a 5-1 win over Poland in a UEFA Nations League clash.

It took the career tally for the 39-year-old to 910 goals.

It was also Ronaldo’s 215th game for his national team and his 134th and 135th international goals.

He said: “I just want to enjoy. Plan for the retirement… if it has to happen, in one or two years… I don’t know.

“I’m turning 40 soon… I really want to enjoy, as long as I feel motivated I keep going.

“The day I don’t feel motivated, I will retire.”
