Court remands 5 over unlawful possession of firearms

An Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Thursday remanded five men in a correctional facility over alleged possession of rifles and live ammunition.

The five men are Muhammadu Ibrahim, 23; Abdullahi Aliyu, 30; Usman Abubakar, 28; Abubakar Umoru, 25 and Arowolo Olatunbosun, 34.

The five men, whose addresses were not provided, were charged with conspiracy and unlawful possession of firearms.
