Corruption: Start acting like whistleblowers – ICPC to Nigerian students

The Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, Musa Adamu Aliyu, has charged Nigerian students to start acting like whistleblowers.

He said the students must take their place as agents of change that Nigeria desperately needs to stop corruption, especially in schools.

The ICPC boss gave this charge on Tuesday at the inauguration of 30 Students Anti-Corruption Clubs in 30 schools within the Federal Capital Territory.

He told the students that since they witness first-hand incidences of corruption in schools ranging from teachers demanding for bribes, sextortion, to absenteeism, it was important for them to use their energy and strength to change the narrative.

“As future leaders of Nigeria, it is important that you use your choice, voice and determination to transform Nigeria schools into beacons of integrity and excellence. You can act as whistleblowers and report corrupt practices to ICPC.
