Christmas: Reflect on Jesus’ life, teachings – Police Affairs Minister to Christians

Minister of Police Affairs Ibrahim Geidam has enjoined Christians in Nigeria to reflect on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Geidam, in a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Osaigbovo Ehisienmen, while felicitating with Nigerians on the occasion of the Christmas celebration, urged the faithful to internalize Jesus’ teachings on hope and faith in God in all aspects of their national life.

Similarly, the minister urged Nigerians to renew their commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Tinubu administration, which has enhanced security as one of its pillars.

He also used the occasion to applaud the commitment of the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Kayode Egbetokun, and policemen nationwide to the Federal Government’s vision of retooling policing architecture to herald a people centric 21st century policing paradigm that will guarantee security, safety and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.

Meanwhile, the minister wished Nigerians happy Christmas celebrations and a prosperous New Year ahead.
