Wilfred Ndidi has handed Leicester City a big injury boost by revealing he expects to be back in action in just “a couple of weeks.”
Ndidi was initially expected to spend around three months on the sidelines after undergoing surgery for a muscle injury in December.
The Nigeria international is, however, looking to return to action at the beginning of next month after a quick recovery from the injury.
“The injury’s alright; I’m getting there. It’s two weeks post-surgery. Hopefully, in a couple of weeks, I’ll be back,” he told Sky Sports.
Ndidi missed the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations as a result of the injury.
The midfielder has registered 10-goal contributions across all competitions for Leicester City this season.
