Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery has paid tribute to the club’s former striker, Gary Shaw.
Shaw passed away at the age of 63 on Monday.
Reacting, Emery said Aston Villa will remember Shaw always.
The former Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain coach spoke at his pre-match press conference ahead of Aston Villa’s UEFA Champions League clash against BSC Young Boys in Switzerland on Tuesday night.
“My condolences go out to his family and all of the supporters of Aston Villa Football Club,” Emery said.
“Memories – we will remember him always with our pictures of the 1982 European Cup in our training ground.
“He was the protagonist for that, my condolences.”
