Manchester United Legend, Rio Ferdinand has identified Bukayo Saka as Arsenal’s most dangerous player following the Gunners’ UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
Ferdinand said this while expressing his disbelief that Arsenal were not awarded a penalty in the dying moments against Bayern Munich at Emirates.
Recall that Saka went tumbling down inside the box after colliding with Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, but Arsenal’s appeals for a penalty were dismissed as the match ended in a draw.
“How has that not been given? I can’t believe that it has not been given with VAR,” Ferdinand told TNT Sports.
“Saka was the most dangerous player for Arsenal; he was running through there – that is a penalty.
“I am in the stadium, I can’t believe it, I’m walking around in disbelief and I have got my arms on top of my head.”
