Players and officials of Edo Queens have left the country for Casablanca, Morocco ahead of the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League, DAILY POST reports.
The contingent departed the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Thursday morning.
The Nigerian champions will be making their maiden appearance in the competition.
Moses Aduku’s side will face holders Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, CBE FC of Ethiopia and Masar FC of Egypt in Group B.
Edo Queens’ opening fixture is against Masar FC in Casablanca on Saturday.
The Benin City club will be looking to make history as the first Nigerian club to win the competition.
The competition will run from November 9 to November 23 in the cities of El Jadida and Casablanca, Morocco.
