CAFWCL: Buoyant Edo Queens land in Morocco

Edo Queens arrived Casablanca, Morocco, on Thursday night ahead of the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League.

The Nigerian champions announced their arrival on the social media.

“Touchdown in Morocco! We have safely landed and received a warm welcome from our hosts. We’re ready, focused, and excited for the journey ahead!,” the club wrote on X.

Edo Queens will be making their maiden appearance in Africa’s biggest club competition.

Moses Aduku’s side are drawn in Group B with holders Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Egypt’s Masar FC and CBE of Ethiopia.

They will take on Masar FC in their opening fixture in Casablanca on Sunday.
