CAFCC: El-Kanemi Warriors to play home games in Abuja

El-Kanemi Warriors will play their home games in the CAF Confederation Cup at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The 2024 President Federation Cup champions took the decision after their home ground, the El-Kanemi Stadium, Maiduguri failed to meet required CAF standard.

It is the first time the club will be playing on the continent in over two decades.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side will face Beninoise club, Dadje FC in the preliminary round.

The first leg will be played between August 16-18 August, while the second leg will hold between August 23-25.

The Maiduguri club will confront former champions, RS Berkane of Morocco in the second preliminary round if they overcome Dadje FC.
