CAF Confederation Cup: Eguma upbeat Rivers United will beat Club Africain in Tunis

Rivers United head coach, Stanley Eguma insisted his team is in a buoyant mood ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup matchday four encounter against Club Africain of Tunisia.

The Pride of Rivers will be up against Said Saibi’s men at the Stade de Rades on Wednesday night.

Rivers United defeated the Tunisians 1-0 on matchday three with captain Nyima Nwagua scoring the decisive goal.

Eguma hinted that his players are fired up for tomorrow’s encounter.

“The spirit in camp now is high. The team is in a winning mood. I think that the spirit of winning is also high. It will play a huge role in the game with Club Africain in Tunis,” Eguma said ahead of the game.

Rivers United occupy the second position in the group with six points from three games.
