Rangers forward, Onyekachi Okafor has urged his teammates to fight for qualification for the group stage of the CAF Champions League after a slim win against Angola’s Sagrada Esperanca.
The Flying Antelopes secured a narrow 1-0 win over the Angolans in the first leg of the CAF Champions League second preliminary round tie at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Friday.
Okafor urged his teammates to push harder in the second leg tie in Angola.
Rangers will lock horns with Sagrada Esperenca at the 11 de Novembro Stadium in Angola next Sunday.
The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions need to avoid defeat in the game to be able to qualify for the group stage of the competition.
“It’s far from over,” Okafor wrote on X.
“We push to the very end never say die.”
