Victor Boniface was on target as Bayer Leverkusen were held to a 2-2 draw by Holstein Kiel.
Boniface opened scoring for Die Werkself after four minutes.
It was the forward’s fourth league of the season for the Bundesliga champions.
The 23-year-old was also on target in Xabi Alonso’s side UEFA Champions League win over AC Milan in midweek.
Boniface was in action for 70 minutes against Holstein Kiel.
The former Union Saint-Gillloise star was replaced by Patrick Schick.
His international teammate, Nathan Tella, was an unused substitute in the game.
