Nigeria’s Supersand Eagles failed to qualify for the 2024 Beach Soccer African Cup of Nations following a 6-5 defeat to Mauritania.
The Supersand Eagles won the first leg 5-4.
Abdullahi Isa’s side, however, lost out on the away goal rule, with the two-legged tie ending 10-10 on aggregate.
The Supersand Eagles were hoping to make a return to the competition after a five-year absence.
Nigeria have won the Beach Soccer AFCON title twice in the past.
