Nigeria’s Supersand Eagles will depart the country for Nouakchott on Friday for the first leg of their 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Mauritania.
The encounter will hold in Nouakchott on Saturday.
It will be the Supersand Eagles’ first international match in five years.
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, recently appointed Abdullahi Isa as head coach of the team.
Experienced players Victor Tale and Emeka Ogbonna are among the playing body, which also includes Arome Isah, Adams Taiwo, Emmanuel Ohwoferia, Godwin Tale, Egan-Osi Ekujimi, Chidozie Frank and Hassan Abdullahi.
The return leg is scheduled for Saturday, 27th July in Nigeria.
