Nigeria will face Mauritania in the 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, DAILY POST reports.
The draw ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Thursday.
CAF announced the pairings on its X handle.
In other pairings, defending champions Senegal will be up against Guinea, while Angola face Morocco. Ghana will also do battle with Cote d’Ivoire.
The other games in the qualifiers areTanzania vs Uganda, Seychelles vs Mozambique and Burundi vs Malawi.
The first legs of the qualifiers are billed for 19 – 21 July 2024, while the second legs will hold between 26 – 28 July.
The Beach Eagles have won the competition twice, in 2007 and 2009.
